How reactive power originates
- Active power – useful mechanical power
- Reactive power – needed to maintain the devices magnetic fields and transferred between the generator and the load
Effects of Reactive Power
- Power generators and transmission network operators must make this apparent power available & transmit it.
- This means that generators, transformers, power lines, switch gear, etc. must be sized for greater power rating than if the load only drew active power
Power Factor Correction
- If the power factor is corrected, this totally or partially eliminates the reactive power. Power factor correction is at its most effective when it is physically near to the load.
Proper management of reactive power contributes significantly to our future smart grid

This is parallel with an objective outline by TNB and in conjunction with government mission and encouragement to create a green environment in Malaysia. Thus, we were frequently listened in all ears any feedback from our client. Generators-PFCS Device” font_container=”tag:h4|text_align:left|color:%23ffffff” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]In 2018, we have presented out proposal to START, PDRM. Besides, we have been successfully installed our devices and helping them to eliminate their penalty surcharge at their Royal Police Museum, they also inquire us to simulate the devices to be used with a thousand unit of generators in Sabah and Sarawak.
As we know, they were some difficulties facing by the government of Malaysia through Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in pulling a set up to distribute an electricity in Sabah and Sarawak as same as Peninsular Malaysia. Therefore, PDRM need to spend a million of ringgit per year to supply a diesel to ensure their generators are fully functional. An inductance load generates by generators provide a same resistance concept that leads to power factor problem in peninsular Malaysia, so we believe with proper research and development process, we can help them to reduce their diesel supply cost as we successfully helping them in eliminating their power factor charges in bills. Just imagine if we can use this idea by exporting them to the rural areas in other countries such as Indonesia that solely depends their electrical consumption on generators by not forgetting our rural people in rural areas in our country.

PFCS for Smart Home Concept (Green Tech)” font_container=”tag:h4|text_align:left|color:%23ffffff” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]For the past 10 years many developers have built their properties based on smart home concept (“SHC”). Its include green concept building design which can minimize green house effect. This campaign actually has been initiated by our former Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi in 2005. Thus, in parallel with the main function of our product in cutting power losses in the most precise manner and storing an excess power supply, it can help a residential user to optimize their electricity usage. We are targeting to develop and design our product in more luxurious and exquisite manner.
We foresee this R&D program as our flagship project which can be a stepping stone in bringing our company to the next level.
